Mark Lee Chappell Passed away at his home in Largo, FL on January 29th, 2023. He was born in Greenfield, IN on January 26th,1954 to Robert Earl Chappell and Helen "Sue" Chappell. Mark graduated from Greenfield Central High School in 1972.

He started working for Mitchell Fleming Printing Company in high school as a bindery foreman and continued to do so up until his retirement. Mark also served as a volunteer fire fighter for Greenfield Fire Department for many years. Mark enjoyed spending time with his family and his beloved dogs of many, fishing, going to the casino, playing cards and chatting with close friends at breakfast on Saturday mornings. After retirement Mark enjoyed spending his time leisurely between his home in Indiana and Florida with his wife Linda.

Mark is survived by his wife Linda Cain Chappell of Largo, FL his son's Ryan Chappell (Holly) of Greenfield and Nicholas Chappell (Brittany) of Greenfield. Grandchildren Nichole Chappell, Melony Chappell, Grant Elsbury and Dylan Shaw. Step Children Kelly Thomas (Jeff), Jodi Hauck (Raymond), Stacy Houston (Ed), and Michael Mattingly. Mark was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of Life will be Saturday February 25, 2023 at the Hancock County Fraternal Order of Police from 4-8pm.
