I stumbled across Chris' obituary on the SHS website and am shocked and saddened. Chris and I were in the same class all through elementary school at Sutton. Because of our last names we always sat close to each other and always cut up. He was so much fun. My deepest condolences to his family.

I worked with Chris for several years, and I thought he was a good man. I am sorry to learn of his passing. May God bless him, and his family as well.

Prayers for peace and comfort for the Cockerham family. Chris and I spent many hours playing backgammon while he shared with me his love for his family and friends; whom he spoke of often; his passion for the great state of Texas and it's history, as well as his love and vast knowledge of Music. Chris was a dear friend who possessed an incredible heart and made an indelible impression upon mine. I will carry that imprint always and be reminded each time I see a Bluebonnet. God Bless and keep you always Chris.

Marian and family,
I just got home from my brothers service and found out about your son passing. Sorry to say I never met him but I know how hard it is to loose one so unexpectidly. My thoughts and prayers to each one of you.
