He was a warm, kind, selfless, self-effacing person who lived his life effortlessly in the presence of God and I know this because he was my brother. He may be gone but his light will never dim and he will not be forgotten.
Some humorous factoids you may not know about Mark!
His inter-sibling nickname was Kram.
He spoke Pig-Latin like a romance language professor.
He cultivated and owned the PHSN acronym.
He actually knew how and why computers work.
He had a wonderful sense of humor and never took himself seriously.
And lastly he is probably laughing at these notes right now and could add many more to the list.
Elaboration of a superlative person is superfluous so I will stop.
REQUIESCAT IN PACE.

How could I ever pick out one memory? Having loved Mark for almost 71 years, he was my brother, dearest friend, and confidant. I miss him so much already.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember meeting Mark once on our lunch hour when we were at the Mt. View campus. I could tell then that he was a warm and kind person.

When visiting Annette and Mark, his warm and welcoming personality truly overwhelmed me. As an early riser, he listened for my footsteps and would gently tap on my door, "Di, your coffee is ready. It´s just outside your door." And of course he knew exactly how I liked it. So genuine and considerate, always. We will miss him!
