Dear, Dear Ted,

How our heart goes out to you as you experience this departure of your sweet and loving friend, Mark. When I spoke to Mark on the phone, I felt as if I had known him as long as Jim has. What a wonderful man he must have been. It would have been an honor to say I knew him. When I talk to you it makes me feel like a long time member of your family. How I wish I could have met you years ago. What a deep love you had for each other and how wonderful of you to share that love with others. I will always remember Mark with fondness and hope to meet you in person, sometime soon.

Here is a big hug and remember we are keeping you in our prayers. It is no wonder that you have so many friends who love you so much.

Mark was a shinning star in Bennington and Bennington had a man with a heart of gold and a man with so much caring and love. I only knew Mark a short time but the encouragment and help he gave to me will ever be in my heart. Ted know that my thoughts and prayers go out to you and are with you. Fifty one years of partnership and love together was truly a blessing and outpouring of devoted love.

Ted - I am so sorry to hear of Marks' passing. He was a wonderful man with a beautiful sense of humor and a heart made of gold. You both used to brighten my day when you came to our shop and I always looked forward to you visits. A lot of lives were made better because of you and Mark and he will be sorely missed. The world is a smaller place today, as one of the best is gone. Although we have lost touch over the years, you and Mark are such a part of my memories. Mark was there for me when I was adjusting to my brothers illness. You and he brought me to my first seminar so many years ago in Brattleboro, and the video of John and I is very special to me. He always greeted me with a hug and a smile. He was a true gentleman, in every sense of the word. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you. May God give you the courage to face the days ahead, and may you find the strength you need in the many beautiful memories you have.
