It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving Mark surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the age of fifty. Loving husband of Suzanne Gunville and children Victoria Derossis and Yann Gunville. Beloved son to Peter and Stella Derossis. He will also be deeply missed by his beloved sister Anna Derossis, her husband Adam Adamakakis, niece Daria, nephew Demetrios and relatives and friends whose lives he touched. Our deepest appreciation to his dedicated physicians and staff at the Montreal General Hospital. The family will receive condolences at the
Urgel Bourgie funeral home
1255 Beaumont Avenue,
Town of Mount Royal
on Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Friday, August 2, 2013 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Evangelismos Tis Theotokou Orthodox Church, 777 St-Roch Street (corner Champagneur Ave.) In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to World Vision Canada.

I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Mark's passing. Mark was a very talented and generous soul. Early on in my life, he was very giving with his time and instrumental with his love of music and his knowledge of the bass guitar. He taught me how to play my very first song and I will never forget that. His impact on me was great to say the least. Thank you Mark and may you rest in peace.
