I did not ever meet Mark Dodson in person, but I feel like I did know him because I recently discovered his wonderful podcast, Detectives Don´t Sleep, of which, sadly, there are only 42 episodes. Mark´s rich voice was perfect for telling the true crime stories he told. When listening, I feel like he´s telling the story just to me. The idea of the podcast was to honour the detectives, including private eyes, who solved the crimes. He only began the podcast in 2023, and then of course, we know what happened to Mark in early March of this year. Condolences to Mark´s family, friends, and the many fans, like me, who will miss him very much.
