Life goes by and while young we don't realize how quickly. My condolences to all who are still grieving this loss and I know it has affected many. I will always be indebted to Mark. He gave me reason to feel that I have been worth anything in this life because of the son and grandson that he gave me. In the next life I am hoping that we will all be understanding how precious all of life is and how extraordinary our experiences have been. Thank you to Mark.

I see my candle didn't get up here yet on the site. 2020 is a crazy year. I'll try again. If the first candle appears then that's fine. A second candle is good, too.

I guess he wants to be remembered. So before the end of the month I'll share a photo I found between books a couple days after the 22nd. And then we talked in a dream. And now I received an email about sharing. So I'm sharing. 10 years went by.

I am thankful for the genes that he left behind. He'd be shocked to see his son and grandson now. 8 years have passed. I don't think you are really gone when you pass along genetic material that becomes incredible human beings. Thank you to Mark who was too young to realise the impact he made. A son and a grandson. He would be proud.

Mark the Fish Man. Just discovered you are no longer with us. Fond memories of The Alta Mira Hotel days. Thanks for letting me watch the World Cup on your satellite TV in Petaluma all those years ago. Condolences to Dan and the family.

We don't really know what we're doing most of the time when we are here, but you have left behind more than memories. Thank you for all that you have left behind, even if you didn't know what kind of impact you would make. We have awesomeness that you have given us. Happy Valentine's Day, Mark.

"Old Blue" that is the nick name my girls gave Mark. He drove a old beat up blue truck he got from his good friend Jay.
He said a it might look a bit beat up but he could always trust it. My girls gave him the nick name after that. We had the the pleasure of having Mark in our life until the end. We cherish his all his calls that always ended in how proud he was of Whitney and Tyler and that he loved them. He was a big part of our life and we deeply miss him.....love u mark!!!yvonne, whitney&tyler

At age 63, I recognize taking pride in your big family comes with stinging pain. Losing my baby brother, Mark, has saddened me into new understanding of gratitude for family and friends. Mark was bitter sweet and like Sinatra, "did it his way". His kind deeds, many undisclosed, were the measure of his true character and I am so proud of him. Vaya Con Dios, Mark, we will all be together some sunshine day. Sister Cidne

My uncle mark was filled with love and compassion. I loved spending the holidays with him at my uncle dannys. His humor filled us up till the point we had to pee in our pants. He was just truly funny. Everyone is just shocked about his sudden passing. We are nothing without uncle Marky the sharky. Even though he is gone he will still be with us in our hearts. We love you uncle Marky.

My uncle Mark's passing is a huge loss in our family unit. He will be truly missed but never forgotten. I would like to say Mark was a man's man full of integrity and pride and the hardest worker I have ever known and he taught me these things as a young man.He was truly one of the greatest men in my life. Mark gave me so much I just hope I can pass these wonderful traits along to my own children as he so freely gave them to me. I do know in my heart and soul that he is now in heaven with my grandparents Harry and Ethel Gallagher.I love you uncle Mark.

My father was a great athlete with a competitive spirit evident in everything he did. I was blessed to have had him as a father and will keep his spirit alive in thoughts and prayers. His charm and humor carry on in his grandson's smile. Thank you dad, I love you and miss you.

I am deeply saddened by Mark's passing. I had the honor of getting to know him when we played together at City College in 1974. He was a great guy and we had a lot of fun together at "Harvard on the Hill". God's speed Buddy!
