Sorry to hear that Mark has left this world to join another. During his stay god led him on many paths. One of which he is a forrunner of the Fort Worth Day Labor Center. He worked hard even walking the streets around the Workforce Commission Downtown Fort Worth to put people to work. I worked at his home while his mother was alive and he enjoyed his garden that I helped him with. He gave a party
for his coworkers. He was always nice and since of humor. thank you Mark for the time I got to know you. I just learned today 9/16/2009 that Mark had passed. I went to visit.

I have been looking for Mark for several years. I just now learned of his passing. He was my friend at Okla. Christian--as dear as a brother to me. I can see by the messages that he continued to be the wonderful person I knew so many years ago. What a precious soul! I am sorry for his passing.

I am so sad to learn that Mark has passed away. He was a co-worker and friend of mine for many years. He helped my mother, my daughter and me move furniture in his pick-up several times and did so cheerfully, although he drove really fast and scared us. He was very goodhearted and so funny, with his offbeat sense of humor. I will always remember the "wig blessing" party he had for his mother, complete with clergy and shrimp cocktail. It makes me sad that I won't see his smiling face at my front door on Saturday mornings any more, saying "Let's go eat breakfast!" I have many good memories of Mark and will try to remember these instead of dwelling on the fact that he's gone.

I am Terry Thomson. Mark was so generous as I was trusted with his dogs and his house, as well as keeping a key to his house all the times he was hospitalized.
I cut his trees, cleaned his house and assisted him with his move/moving back to his house after his fire. We hung all his new pictures and got his home back in shape upon his return from all his hospitalizations.
Mark always asked about my mother and friends...just being Mark.
I became good friends with Bill next door, as well as his adjacent neighbord. My memories of our bond of friendship will carry on in my heart-I look forward to the day I see him again in Heaven.

Mark was a joy to supervise, a fine Christian man in every way, sense of humor, always up and seemed happy and delighted to be there. My prayers are with his family in this time, and know God knows your hearts and his life was an open book. May God help you in your time of bereavement.

We are sad to hear of Mark's passing. He was such a faithful person as illustrated by his loving care for his mother. He was truly interested in others, and we appreciated knowing him and being a member of his family.

I am DeVonne Tatum and am married to Larry Tatum, a grandson of Earl & Eda Tatum. We had Mark in our home last Thanksgiving. He was always gracious and courteous coming with flowers or a pie to add to the feast. When my children graduated from high school , he gave wonderful parties for them. My favorite was for our daughter, Rebecca. Mark held the party in his lovely backyard. The girls wore hats from the days when ladies wore hats to church, and Mark hired a harpist. He knew how to make a person feel special.

Mark and I worked together for about five years for the Texas Workforce Commission in Fort Worth. He was a pleasant and respected friend to both co-workers and clients. His positive attitude and exceptional work ethic were very positive contributions to the workplace.

Mark and I worked together for several years. He was an inspiration to all those who knew and loved him. He could make me laugh when there did not seem to be any hope or reason to smile. He blessed my life in more ways than can be listed. I will miss him but I know he has "graduated to the big house" and is happy.

It was my pleasure to work with Mark. Mark was able to remind me to enjoy simple things in life and I will be grateful for him for the rest of my life. I will remember his "zest" for life and how he was able to love people for who they were and his insight into a persons heart. His time here was short, but Heaven has his reward. Love you Mark,be at peace.

I was so sorry to hear about Mark's passing. I went to school with him and remember him as a cut-up who was always smiling and joking. I ran into him a few years back at church and he seemed about the same as he was in high school. He will be missed. I know he'll be watching over all of his family and friends.

With deepest sympathy,
Marylin (Acridge) Wingo
