Dear Jeff and Family Members,
Mark was one of the kindest people I have ever met. He was a wonderful friend to have in good times and bad. We may not have seen each other for years at a time but when we got in touch it was like the time had melted away. Mark's phone calls were priceless!
Mark and Jeff's support of the Arts put many struggling artists on the map. Mark was quick to smile and always treated people with respect. This gentle man traveled the world and never lost his hometown values. "Gillis" stood tall for his beliefs and always had style. I know he is at peace, but I sure will miss his phone calls and his one of a kind voice, and that impish smile. Friends like Mark are never forgotten.
My sincere condolences to Jeff and all of the Gillis family.

Mark will be greatly missed by his family and his friends at Carpets by Direct. He will also be missed by his good friends at CDMS Inc. If Mark called us with a question about the software, he always called us with a smile on his face. You could hear the smile through the phone. It was quite contagious. He had a way of brightening our days. I personally will miss that a great deal.
I just want everyone at the Carpets by Direct family to know, that we are here if you need us, and if there is anything we can do to help you at this time, please do not hesitate to give us a call.

Mark's death was devastating news to us, although we were expecting his passing to happen any time. We loved Mark for his love of family, compassion for animals and just all around kindness to everyone. He will certainly be missed but we know that he is not suffering at this time and for that we are grateful to God. May he rest in peace and my his family and friends have the peace of Christ now and always. With deepest sympathy - Amelia Gillis Daniel and husband- Bud.
