I remember Trip fondly. He was always kind and friendly in our high school days. His career was exemplary and a wonderful indication of his personality and character.

My sympathies and condolences to the family. I met and worked with Trip at the Bank of New England Commercial Real Estate Group. He was friendly, kind, helpful, and had a nice sense of humor. God Bless Trip. He was a very good man.

Mark was a dear beloved friend of mine. I hadn't seen Mark in quite some years, but there was a time when we shared lunches and coffees, and talked very much about life, and each other's challenges and triumphs. Mark was very much a sort of mentor to me, we spoke of God and our spiritualities and what it meant to us. We shared about our families, and I loves hearing about Kaylee and Mackey, and when Juliette and Henry came along we had mostly lost touch, though I especially carried sweet Henry in my heart and mind as time passed. Mark was someone who helped me tremendously, as an empathetic friend who provided a safe space to talk, process my difficult circumstances of that time, and encouragement to find the strength and inspiration to persevere. I was just someone who happened to cross paths with a remarkable man, whom I could see no doubt was a kind of pillar and protector to the ones around him, I was always touched by the way he reflected in his family, and reminded just how special our little lunches were. I am heartbroken to hear of his passing, as I am going through another hard moment, and I have reflected back to our conversations and thought of Mark Alor lately. I am heartbroken for the family, as I know just how important he was to you all. I send my love, my condolences, and my prayers for healing and tranquility. My mother passed away two years ago, and so I understand this loss. God bless.

I have known Trip all of my life. It wasn´t until I was older that I knew his official name was Mark (like his father).
It seemed like Ann, Trip, Dave and my siblings grew up together our entire lives.
I am sending this on behalf of my siblings (Andy, Mike, Debbie) and myself. There were so many fond memories of all of us playing by the Creek, raising our black lab dogs, playing in our BIG yard at the red brick house, and having 1 babysitter while our parents had a potluck dinner and bridge.
Even when we moved to California all the Hargraves would come for a visit and trip to Disneyland.
Then Trip or Dave would make a trip to California or my mother would bring all of us to Rochester for a long trip in the summer.
Trip always had a great smile and contagious laugh. He loves to compete in anything (sports, obstacle courses my brothers set up in our yard or the ice hockey rink my father would make in our yard. I am not sure there was anything Trip would not compete in. He loved the challenge.
Yet, despite his competitive streak Trip lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed people of every age. He listened carefully to whatever the individual was telling him. He was kind, gentle and caring. Additionally, Trip was always there when family or friends needed him. If Trip had lived in the South he would have been called a "true southern gentleman".
Trip will be missed by so many people. But, we all will have fond memories and know that Trip lived every day to its fullest and he enjoyed every aspect of life.
Each of us in the King family morn Trip´s passing and we send our deepest sympathies to all the Hargraves.

To Trips beloved family .. My deepest condolences on your loss. I worked with Trip for a while at Boston Private. A thorough gentleman and such an impeccable dresser. I loved Trips compassion for the have nots and it was not in a superficial way. He put his expertise to use to bring about opportunities in the banking sphere . I especially remember his involvement with Boston Rescue Mission and him advocating for folks to have accounts with us . We all Admired that so much . Rest in peace with the creator Trip .

For anyone who got to witness my dad´s commitment to running the Boston Marathon either as a supportive spectator, generous donor or fellow runner, you´d catch a glimpse into the essence of who he was. Not only did he raise charitable funds through these efforts, he also hit the pavement with enthusiasm, positivity, and determination- with which he approached pretty much everything in life. He was so personable he would bond with other runners and even made some lasting friendships along the course. He truly could connect with others no matter the circumstances. That´s just who he was.
We ran in two Boston Marathons together. Even though we had set out with our respective charities at different times we somehow bumped into each other towards the end of the course despite the extra crowded 2014 race of 36,000 runners. We crossed the finish line hand in hand. For all I know, we may have come in 35,999th place, but we both considered it a win. I´ll cherish it always, Dad. And for the gusto you brought to every interaction with your grandchildren, I thank you for lacing up your shoes and jumping in with your epic, marathon-scaled devotion. You are one of a kind.

Dad was a loving father, he supported our creativity and never raised his voice. He did everything he could to support us and his grand children. He was always on the floor playing with them, taking them on outings and even staying in the cold ocean for hours just to stay with them. He loved tossing a beach ball back and forth, or playing ping pong whenever our family got together. He was extremely competitive but good sportsmanship was very important to him and he always encouraged his opponent even though he usually won everything. I often saw him sitting in a sunny spot with his face to the sun. He was a cheerful and loving father and grandfather. We wish he didn´t leave us so soon.

Trip had a nice sounding name. A musical name. A very special and ever present friend.
We met through the Bank of New England. Trip was a friendly, exuberant , banker, and joyful man who had time for anyone no matter how busy he was. He wanted news of our friends and families.
He was a proud husband and parent. A modest and gracious soul, very quietly Christian. Mickey and girls, please know that I will miss and not forget him.
May he rest in peace.

My sympathies and sincere condolences to all his family members. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends! Trip was taken from us much to soon, but I am sure our Holy Father required his help. I probably knew and ran into Trip a dozen times or so since being a classmate and friend of Dave & Nancy at Ithaca College nearly 50 years ago. Wished I had had the opportunity to play some golf with Trip. Saw him fishing at Brookhaven several times and he really enjoyed himself there. He was always kind and gracious - never heard a bad word uttered by him. Trip just had this air of COOL about him. It was my privilege to have known him. Be comforted by knowing he is in a better place and not suffering here on earth!

I am so sad to read this. Tripp was a very caring loving man. I can still see him coming into Cloverwood with his scarf around his neck Starbucks in hand to visit his parents. He loved his family and no matter how busy or rushed stopped to talk . God bless you Tripp!
