I must have walked home from school with Mark a thousand times. Mark was a truly sweet, honest and decent friend. Always game for whatever crazyiness we got into as boys. He was awkward as a teen but so smart. You could tell he'd be running things when he was ready. Lost track of him over the years but I'm not surprised he went on to build big civil projects. Good friend, still miss him.

I only learned about Mark's passing yesterday. I am still shocked and saddened by his loss. I met Mark when we worked on projects in San Antonio and later on a large project in Maryland. Mark was alway reasonable to work with and he would always take time to listen to all sides. We lost a leader in our field, Mark got things done and understood deadllines.
Mark will be in all our hearts as we move forward.

I too was a friend and fellow classmate of Mark's years ago as we were growing up in Cortland, NY.
I remember going to his parent's house on Brown Ave (a mere block or so from where I grew up on North Main Street) in 6th grade or so when he showed me some of his Rat Fink-themed hot rod models which I found to be particularly cool.
I also remember his great sister Lynn, who I've always liked as a great person as well.
I'm sorry to learn of Mark's passing, and I'll always remember him fondly.

I´m so shocked and sorry to hear of Mark´s passing. Some of my fondest work memories are of Mark and I working in projects in Rhode Island and our numerous trips to Providence. Mark was a mentor and my biggest advocate. I will miss you, Mark!

Very sorry to hear about Mark´s passing. I worked with him years ago at DeLeuw Cather in East Hartford and I remember him fondly as being smart, hard working, and engaging. Sincere condolences to his family.

I met Mark in 7th grade in Cortland. We hung around together for the better part of the next 2 decades then drifted out of touch as life took us in different directions. I'd think of him at times but we never did get together again. Reading the comments of those who were involved in Mark's later life, I know he was still the good person I knew him as. That makes some of my deep sadness softer. My thoughts are for the comfort of his family and friends. May your good memories flood your thoughts and help wash away your pain.

So sorry to hear about Mark. He hired me at Parsons 20 years ago. I nee he would be a good boss when I went to his office and he was ordering Ozzy Osborne tickets for his daughters. He always treated me well and I enjoyed our early morning "therapy sessions" wondering about what challenges each day would bring. He often talked about retiring to a beach someday and selling breakfast sandwich´s to the tourists. RIP

I was shocked and extremely saddened to hear of Mark's passing. I extend my prayers and condolences to his family. I worked with Mark as his Deputy PM on the SH 249 Extension, here in Texas. The project's construction is nearing completion and I had talked to Mark a couple of months ago about him needing to make a visit and drive the project before they opened the second segment. As highways go, it's a beautiful project and Mark provided the leadership to the Parsons design team to make it so. His Parsons family will miss his leadership and good humor. Rest in Peace my friend.
