Mark Cook Hulbert, 57, of Arvada, Colorado. Born April 22, 1959 in Denver, Colorado and passed away peacefully with his family August 11, 2016 in Littleton, Colorado. Mark graduated from Arvada High School in Arvada, Colorado. Mark attended University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado after being awarded an athletic scholarship to play tennis. His life-long partner was Peggy Day.

Mark worked at Frito Lay in Denver, Colorado for 27+ years as a Quality Control and Receiving agent. He was a member of Arvada Presbyterian Church. His hobbies included sports, travel, gardening (especially his roses and yard), the mountains and the outdoors. He was a 3 sport letterman at Arvada High School and played tennis, basketball, and baseball. He was All Conference in tennis and All Conference and All State in baseball. Mark was named a High School All-American in baseball. Mark was a member of the Arvada High School marching band. His other sports and activities included skiing, golf, hiking, soccer, softball, and football. He loved to venture to the mountains, Dallas, Texas to visit his oldest brother, Europe, Hawaii, cruises to the Caribbean and Mexico, Mesquite, Nevada to enjoy early spring golf and Utah's National Parks, Estes Park, Mount Evans, and other places. He was an avid fan of the Colorado Rockies and the Denver Broncos. He loved to support his nephew and niece by attending numerous baseball, football, and soccer games as well as high school and college golf tournaments. He did volunteer work for ARC. Mark had a very warm and deep heart and loved to help other people, even during his sickness.

His survivors include brothers, Kent R. Hulbert of North Richland Hills, Texas, Kirk R. (Brenda) Hulbert of Littleton, Colorado, and Ross E. (Lisa) Hulbert of Thornton, Colorado; nephew Taylor Paul Hulbert, niece Nicole Brianne Hulbert; numerous Cousins; and Peggy's three daughters. Mark is preceded in death by his parents Paul H. and Jean Keim Hulbert, and his life-long partner, Peggy Day.

Mark's Celebration of Life is Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 9:30 at Olinger Crown Hill Pavilion of Reflection. CASUAL WEAR PREFERRED; ROCKIES OR BRONCOS ATTIRE, if possible. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Olinger Crown Hill (N. W. Corner of 29th and Wadsworth Blvd). Interment will be at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery. Contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to North Jefferson Jr. Baseball Association, P.O. Box

Mark you were an amazing brother, uncle and friend to all of us. So many memories and great times together. It's comforting to know you are with Peggy, Mom/Dad, grandma's/grandpa's and we will be with you in the future. Rest well Love you!

Saddened to hear this.. I have many fond memories of good times with Mark... From early days at Foster.. thru the Redskins day.. and Beyond.. He was always Kind and generous.. as well as VERY competitive.. We had some great time.. together with our other Pals... R.I.P. Mark...
