Mark Klunk

My condolences to the family. Mr. Klunk was my High School Algebra teacher at Casa Grande in 1979. As much as I didn't like algebra, I sure liked Mr. Klunk. All these years later, I still recall him as one of my favorite teachers. RIP Mr. Klunk. Kim (Kerch) Johnson, Portland, OR

So sorry to hear of Mr. Klunk's passing! He was our teacher at Casa Grande and a gentle man with a wealth of knowledge!

Mark attended 7:30am daily Mass for years and was a man of quiet but firm faith. All of us at the 7:30 Masses have included him and his wonderful family in our prayers -

Tom Brokaw had it right...your father; grandfather; sibling...was from the Greatest Generation!! May the memories of his service-- to nation; students; and family comfort you in this most reflecting of times.

I was a member of the Marin Goldengate Barbershop Chorus along with Mark and we enjoyed many good times singing the "Old Songs". I know now Mark is a member of that heavenly Barbershop Chorus ringing chords!!

Im sorry to hear the news of Mr. Klunk's passing! I was a student of his back in '74-'75, at Casa Grande, and because of him, I can do a check book!! ; )
He was one of the best teachers I had in high school! Had I known of his past military history, I would have loved to hear his stories! I am too a veteran. (Navy).
May he be whooping it up with his new band in a better place!
