Mark Kremers Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 17, 2024.
Mark Leland Kremers, 56, of Holland, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on March 17th, 2024. He was a soft-spoken, caring, generous, fun, and funny man who loved to make others feel better about themselves. Mark had a strong sense of loyalty and family, deeply caring for the people in his life.

Mark leaves behind his beloved wife, Elizabeth (Beth) Kremers. He has two children, Leslie and Shelby, and 6 grandchildren, Riley, Emma, Brooklyn, Michael, Xavier, and Hazel. He was a beloved "UNCLE" to Cassidy, Andrew, Natasha, Jerry, Monika, Maha, Phoenix, and Larson. Beth was the love of Mark's life, and their relationship was a true love story of childhood sweethearts who reconnected later in life. Their marriage of close to 10 years was filled with love and devotion.

Mark had a very special and enduring friendship with Mandy, who was not only his best friend but also like a sister to him. His second love was his bike, being actively involved with his club until health complications arose, considering them his second family. He also had a passion for music, collecting albums and enjoying the nostalgic sound of a record player.

A memorial service is pending, and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Elizabeth Kremers to support the family during this difficult time. Mark's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

There are so many, how do you pick just one? My favorite is one of our last conversations about albums. Mark and Beth bought me a copy of Garth Brooks live album from the Garth Brooks concert Beth and I attended in Detroit. It sparked conversation about more albums and music talk. We both share a deep love for music. Mark gave me a few albums that he had duplicates of, and told me I could borrow others. He told me that he doesn't loan them out to just anyone, and that I'm special. But that's the point. Mark had a way of making everyone feel special. He talked with such a genuine tone. I trusted him with all my secrets, all my stories, and I never once felt judged, just love. I am now coming out of my state of shock, and I miss you so, so much Mark. You were my people. In a world so unkind, Mark remained a sweet, affectionate, and caring man. I love you, Mark. RIP
