Mark Kulcsar

Mark Kulcsar, 68, passed away on May 20, 2024, in Jacksonville, Florida. Born on August 10, 1955, in Barberton, Ohio, Mark was a devoted family man and a respected business owner. He graduated from Barberton High School and soon after began working with his father at Magic City Auto Body. His dedication, hard work and love for his craft led him to purchase and successfully run the family business from 1995 until 2015, when he began facing the challenges of early-onset dementia.

Mark was a man of many interests, including golfing, hunting, riding his Harley, and playing poker with his friends. These activities brought him considerable joy and were a significant part of his life.

Mark was a loving and compassionate individual, well-known for his hardworking nature. Diagnosed with early-onset dementia at the age of 59, he demonstrated immense courage as he adapted to the changes it brought into his life. His son initially took over his care and the family business. Later, as his needs grew, Mark moved into a Memory Care facility in Jacksonville, where his daughter ensured he received the best care.

He is survived by his children, Mark Kulcsar (Beverly) and MistyDawn Brossart (Amanda); his grandchild, AnnaBelle River Kulcsar; his siblings, Judy Lowe (Butch), James Kulcsar (Becky), John Kulcsar (Jan), David Kulcsar, and Diane James; along with many nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Ardith and John Kulcsar.

A memorial service will be held on August 10, 2024, at Church Full Gospel Tabernacle, 939 Utica Ave, Akron, Ohio 44312, honoring his life and legacy. Mark's memory will be cherished by all who knew him as a kind-hearted man who made a lasting impact on his community and loved ones.
