We are having your memorial today Mark, old friend. Your girl is devastated, as we all are. Man, you are sorely missed. It has some folks acting right silly, but you know all that, brother. I know you are watching over us all, and your friends are all truly trying to honor your wishes and your life today and every day. Marko, I made you pralines. They are never going to be the same without you here to enjoy them. Love you man.

I am truly heartbroken to say farewell to such a special friend. Mark was a fun-loving guy with a great sense of humor, but also smart and kind and crazy in love with Penny. One of my fondest memories was when Mark showed me this miniature cannon he had in the backyard of their house in Louisiana. He was showing me how it functioned and fired it off. It was so loud that the neighbors thought a mobile home had exploded and they all ran out to see what was going on. Not a good time to meet the neighbors! Mark will be missed so much. Penny, I am here for you any time; day or night. I love you my sister.

Mark was a good, kind man. I am shocked and saddened by his death and my heart breaks for Penny and his friends & family. I loved the way he loved my sister. And I will miss him.

Mark was a dear and treasured friend. We will cherish all the memories of fun times with he and Penny forever. He was a gentle, creative, funny and kind man. I hate that he had to leave so soon. Penelope, our hearts break for you. You will see him at the clearing at the end of the road one day.
