Mark was born March 9, 1960 in Steubenville, OH; he was the son of the late Frank and Kathleen (Jonczak) Maffioli.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Louie and Corrine (Lloyd) Maffioli and Theodore and Charlotte (Mioduszewski) Jonczak.
Mark was a home design consultant for Granite Transformations. Mark also managed and was a partner with Home Renovations.
He was a 1978 graduate of Weir High School, where he played baseball and basketball and was a great Pitcher. Mark was very active in the community and followed in his father’s footsteps as a little league coach and mentor for several years. Mark enjoyed sports, swimming and having fun with his family. He was an avid Steelers and Notre Dame Fan. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Penny (Potter) Maffioli. Sister Michelle Maffioli of Las Vegas NV. Son Dustin and wife Ashley Maffioli of Orlando, Fl. and daughter Miranda Maffioli of Tiltonsville, OH. Step-daughter Candace Baughman of Jacksonville, Fl.
Celebration of Life will be held September 20, 2015 in the Maffioli residence in Jacksonville Fl. Mark always loved a Tailgate party.
