Mark "Marko" Case Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 3, 2025.
Mark "Marko" Case, 63, passed away on February 23, 2025, surrounded by his family. He left this world exactly as he lived in it-on his own terms, with great music, and with the people he loved most. Born December 23, 1961, in Oklahoma City to Nancy and Herman Case, Mark grew up in Hobart as the oldest of three. Known for his legendary storytelling and humor, Mark built a successful career in sales driven by his love of people and problem-solving. Mark's greatest joy came when he met Jeannie and together they raised three children he adored: Courtney, Hilary, and Connor. He was passionate about fishing, golfing, cooking, skiing, gardening, music, and travel-especially to Colorado, the Florida Keys, and Costa Rica. His motto? Why go alone when you can bring people along for the ride? Faith in Jesus shaped Mark's life. He lived by principles of generosity and service, always first to help others in need. Mark is survived by his wife, Jeannie; children Courtney, Hilary, and Connor; mother, Nancy; siblings, Ellen and David; and numerous beloved friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman. Marko was a force-one-of-a-kind, larger than life, and impossible to forget. His love, laughter, and incredible spirit will be deeply missed. But as he would say: Life is short-so make it count. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Mark's life on Thursday, 2:00 p.m. March 6th, 2025, at 6801 West Park Boulevard, Plano, Texas 75093.
