I had the privilege of meeting Mark and Susan a couple of years ago. He seemed like a truly wonderful person who cherished his family. Mark was kind to me, and his sense of humor left a lasting impression on me and everyone who knew him. I feel very fortunate to have met him before his passing. My condolences go out to Susan, their children, and grandchildren.

I went to an enactus meeting and was sitting in the back by myself. Mark came up and we got to talking and told me I talked a good game and asked if I was a marketing major. I told him no then he said "have you ever thought about it". I told him nope but to sign me up. A week or so later I was a marketing major and he was my advisor. I´m very grateful for him for getting me to where I am today and creating project that put us into real world experiences. With out mark I would not be where I am today. Forever grateful for his selflessness.

This is unexpected and a shock to me. I had fond memories babysitting for Mark and Susan when their children were small when I was in 8th grade or so. Because Robby was deaf, they had no qualms about hiring me so that their kids would continue to have an ASL model when they are not home. Not only are they wonderful parents but also wonderful human beings. I am heartbroken for his wife Susan and their children, Robby, Kate and Lizzie. Keep memories close to your heart and Mark is with you all in spirit.
