I had the great pleasure to have worked with Mark as an investigator with both the Michigan Bureau of Health Professions and the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. I considered Mark my friend and I am deeply saddened by his passing. I will never forget Mark's kindness, sense of humor, and his incredible work ethic. May God give Mark internal rest and his family the strength to bear the great pain of his passing. God rest Mark's soul in peace.

Mark and I worked together. He was always HELPFUL and made himself available to help any of us with difficult work questions. No matter the time of day or how often the calls, he would answer right away and give the exact process on how to handle any given situation. His advice was always spot-on. I can speak for my co-workers who had the pleasure of knowing him that he was very FUNNY. He had the best sense of humor and could make us belly laugh, or cringe, depending on the topic... ;) One day, Mark told my co-workers and I about a time he saw Moose along the side of a road. During his story, he suddenly decided to show us the moose's mannerisms. He began stomping his feet, banging his head on the metal filing cabinets, and making moose sounds...in our quiet cubicle. It was one of the funniest things we'd ever seen. We have talked about it for years. Mark was a CARING person. Upon return from maternity leave, I was assigned to work an evening shift with him and a fellow co-worker far from my home. Although it didn't bother me, it really bothered Mark that I had a new baby and was working so far away. Unbeknownst to me, he called management and told them how he felt and that he was sending me home before it got late. It was a kind gesture and a testament to his character that he cared about people. Mark had great LOVE for his family. He always spoke of his daughter, his fiancé, her children, and his parents. We listened to stories over the years and saw many pictures of the fun times he had with his fiancé...Go Green! Mark, may you find peace in this next life. And on your birthday, we will have a shot of Jameson with a pickle back, and toast to your life and all you accomplished in this short time...just as you did for your father. Cheers my friend, you will be sadly missed!

I worked with Mark at ICSO, particularly in the Traffic Unit. Mark was always professional and would have your back if you needed it. We periodically kept in touch at different occasions and through social media. My heart aches for Mark's family and I pray they find peace and comfort from the Lord during this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of working with Mark during his time at the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. In my opinion, Mark was the best investigator in the State of Michigan. He was always prepared, truly cared about his work and was a complete professional. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him. My sincere condolences to his entire family. We remember Mark's smile and laugh and his intense love of Hannah. We remember him pampering her with special Manicure parties and generosity with her friends. Mark and my husband have kept in touch even after he left St. Martha. He was a hard worker and very passionate about causes he believed in. So very sad to hear that he has left this world. Our love to Hannah during this extremely difficult time.

So sorry to learn of Marks passing! He grew up into quite the young man! I havent seen Lois and Jacks children in years; but always thought them a loving couple and family. I lost my husband (Evelyn OFarrells brother Ed) just 9 months ago! It is very rough dealing with the loss of a loved one! May God be with you all and help you get through your loss and heartache!

I am so sorry to hear of Mark's passing. I had a chance to work with Mark at the Sheriff's Office, what a courageous individual. Mark served his country in so many ways. Mark pulled out a copy of orders from the military signed by me, great eye for detail. Mark thank you for your service to your community, state and country. I am proud to have served with and worked with you. Blessings to your family at this time of loss. Great memories of man well loved. You will be missed by all who knew you. RIP my brother.
