I met Mark through my husband Mack Rodriguez and family, I worked with his mother Dora at Flower Mart back in the day. I didn’t know him very well however I felt I knew him and the whole family through all her stories she shared with me when we worked side by side making flower arrangements. Her techniques were brilliant and was very good at her craft , It all comes to mind every time I make a wreath or arrangement for my home. She was so proud of him and all her kids and it was clear her love for all of them was what propelled her workhorse energy. My condolences to his wife, children, Mary Helen, Patsy and Mike, I lost my father a year ago and I understand the grief and sorrow, tomorrow may be difficult but the love in your hearts for Mark will raise up within you a new way to be, a new conviction for life, my love and prayers to you all. ❤✝

Even though I haven't seen Mark in years the pain of reading his obituary was so strong that I became emotional. I will always think of James, Mary Helen, Mark, Patsy and Michael as family. Those formative years at C. C. Cathedral were so full of happiness and commaraderie that to this day I treasure them. I am so sorry to hear of Mark's passing but the indelible mark he has left on all of us will live on.
