How lucky we have been to have shared so many wonderful times with our dear friend - your husband and father.
Christmases, birthdays, vacations in Kelowna, and get-togethers for no other reason than to be together.
Mark was one of the best examples of selfless giving, positive attitude and sharing - we will truly miss him but will never forget his loyalty and friendship.

we have such great memories of good times with Mark and you, Brenda. Mark had that wonderful perpetual smile and was always asking "what can we do to help" whenever we had a minor crises. Like the time we bought all the supplies for our place up north and called him from the store when our vehicle was full. We can't remember how many trips he made to help haul it all to your garage where it was stored until we could ship it to Yellowknife.
the wonderful day you hosted at the Hampson family reunion. We remember how he laughed at the silly spoon and string game. He did love a good time ! We're sure going to miss him

I was very saddened to hear of Uncle Marks's passing. He was truly one of a kind. My fondest memory of him is the summer I spent with his family at Invermere B.C. Almost everyday he tried to teach me to waterski. Never giving up on me, finally near the end I finally did it. What a tremendous, uplifting feeling for both of us.

Mark & the Platzer family were a constant presence in my life growing up. We celebrated every Christmas together from around 1976 to, the last one I remember being in, 1997. I have many wonderful memories of those years. My thoughts and love are with you all during this time. Thank you Mark for your unconditional friendship to our family.
