He always seemed to be in a good mood and he would transfer it to everyone around him. Definitely one of the guys I looked forward to talking and laughing with each month at poker night. I didn't know him well, but will never forget him.

I am very sorry to hear about our loss. I knew MJ because we both loved poker. He has been a great member of our league for many years and I can't believe he is now gone. He was a great person and highly respected within our group. I will miss our conversations and competition MJ.

MJ was a friend in our poker league. He was an incredible man whose energy, intellect, kindness and sense of humour will be greatly missed. I know he made the world a better place and I will miss him greatly.
We will be honouring him at our next poker league game in March.

To his family...I would like you all to know that my wife and I are expecting our first child and if I was to point to one person that I would hope he would be like, without hesitation ...MJ.

My heartfelt condolences to family and friends of Mark. Like many I am profoundly shocked and saddened to learn of Mark J's sudden passing. I have known Mark J. since 2004 and I always enjoyed his good humor and friendship. His zeal for life and fun were uplifting and he struck me as a guy that had certain 'Hero' qualities. I will miss his genuine smile and laugh - As we all will.

You were one of my best friends Mark. Really sad to see you leave so soon. You will be greatly missed.
