Mark Randall Shelburne, age 67, of Lebanon, Indiana, passed from this life on Monday, August 18, 2025. Born on December 12, 1957, in Zionsville, Indiana, to the late Don K. and Alma Anniece (Tharp) Shelburne, Mark was a 1976 graduate of Zionsville Community High School and studied at Purdue University.

Mark enjoyed working with his hands in creating and building things. He was skilled in all aspects of farming as well as carpentry, mechanics and most trade skills. He enjoyed road trips, reading, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Mark is survived by his siblings Dianna (Shelburne) Hopper, Rebecca (Mark) (Shelburne) Moreland and Julana (Stanley) (Shelburne-) Reed; his children Brandi (Lee) Nelson and Joshua (April) Lee; his grandchildren Mason and Ryker Nelson, and Rowen, Alastair and Josie Lee; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Don K. and Alma Anniece (Tharp) Shelburne, and both sets of grandparents, Roy Herbert and Bessie Mae (Engledow) Shelburne; and James William and Mattie Estelle (Hughes) Tharp.

A visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care, 125 W. Sycamore Street, Zionsville, IN 46077. Visitation will be followed by a short service after which the family will attend graveside service at Hutton Cemetery, rural Zionsville.

Contributions in memory of Mark Randall Shelburne may be made to Boone County Cancer Society, 1208 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon, IN 46052.
