We worked with Mark on our website FSFamilyTreeUserGroup.com, where his contributions were stunning. His Sunday School lessons are a treasure for consultants. We loved sharing his love of family history and helping others. We will miss him terribly. We pray the comfort of the Lord will be with his family.

Mark and I are two docs who share a love of taking care of missionaries; Mark has been the Salt Lake City South Mission doctor for about four years. He is skilled as a physician. He is generous, selfless, kind and emulates Christ in his interactions with others. I will miss him.

Dear Meg and family and Aunt LaWana, Mark is one of the finest men I have had the privilege of knowing. We had great fun as cousins playing around, but one thing I always felt was his best gift to us all was his music. I'll never forget when he played for uncle Lee's funeral. Every family member there was filled with wonderful memories of childhood and family. And one thing I've got to say..... he knows all about Daniel Shepherd now! Love to you all. JoLynn

I was blessed by Mark's amazing expertise in Family History; especially FamilySearch Family Tree. It was only a couple of months ago that he was one of the primary presenters when our group met with FamilySearch. We will miss his contributions, but he must have been really been needed in the spirit world. I pray that you and your family may be comforted.

Dr Shepherd was my mother and fathers Dr for many years. He was very professional And gave exceptional care to both. We were sad when he retired but glad he could spend more time with his family. RIP!!!!!

This was a total shock and surprise to me and my family. Mark is such a great man, the lord takes some of the great ones early to prepare a place for the rest of us. He will be missed, but it is very nice to know about the grand plan and that he is still alive and someday we will see him again. Until we meet again Mark! Thanks for all you do with the youth and my kids. I am sure you are already an asset on the other side for preparing others.

Meg and family, I send my deepest sympothy. Mark was a great friend and I enjoyed growing up with him in our ward.

Dr Shepherd was the first doctor I worked for when I started as a Medical Assistant 7 years ago. We worked together for two years. Such an amazing man. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Wish I could make it to the services.

I enjoyed working with Dr. Shepherd at the clinic for the missionaries. He was a great person and a wonderful Dr. He was so compassionate with the missionaries and never judged them.
