Scott and family,
So sorry to hear of Marks passing. I still remember the first time I met Mark. It was 5th grade and we had just started at the Middle school and we were at the same cluster of desks. We were all getting to know each other and he told us he had a twin brother and we all thought he was pulling our leg. No way did he have a twin brother lol. Little did we know Scott was down the hall in another class. Even years later running into him at Westfield State he had that smile and was easy to laugh. Thinking of you all in this difficult time.

Words alone cannot paint a picture of who Mark was. To a dear friend, teammate, and musician, I am honored to have had you in my life and I will always cherish the many memories made. I would not be who I am without you.
I will always admire your fearlessness. Whether it be in everyday life, on the field, or even battling cancer, you never showed much concern for worst that could be, but rather focused on the positive outcome.
You will never be forgotten. Be at peace brother, love ya.

To Scott, Danielle, Paul, Sharron and family, words cannot convey how sorry I am for your loss. My heart goes out to you.

Mark was a great guy, and I had the pleasure of going to Gateway Regional High School with him. He graduated in the class after me, but I still had classes with him. His personality was a great one. He was a great athlete as well, mostly with soccer and I remember him on the soccer team for Gateway. I felt shocked to hear about the news that he passed away due to cancer two weeks shy of his 38th birthday. To his family, especially his brother, Scott, his fiancée, Danielle, his parents and everyone else, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Mark, may you rest in peace my friend and thank you for being a part of my life.

Describe a time Mark made me laugh, I mean when didn´t Mark make me laugh. When I think back about my memories with Mark all I can think of is soccer. Mark was a force to be reckon with on the soccer field and if anyone got past him on defense he would always make sure to hustle back and let it be known to the other team that if they got by him they would be eating some grass. Mark would hear it from his teammates and mainly his brother Scott for committing a stupid foul. Mark would just smile at everyone and let out his goofy laugh and go on about his game. If there is one thing we can all learn from Mark is to be your own person and if life is ever passing you by to hustle back and make life eat grass.

Mark I will never forget you and the times we had in high school and on the soccer field. You will be missed but never forgotten and a piece of you will always be carried on through friends and family.

I remembered meeting Mark at HCC on the soccer field. He seemed shy and quiet but then when we started practice I remember getting knocked off the ball by this "shy" guy lol that's my first memory of Mark. I shared 2 years of college soccer with Mark and his brother, he was a genuine nice guy that got along with everyone. He was also extremely hard working and always wanting to be better and better himself in this case on the soccer field but from what I heard he was like that in "normal" life.
I am so happy I shared a couple year with him.

Mark, may you rest in peace. I will always remember you as one of the fiercest competitors on the field and nicest guys off of it. Genuinely a good grounded soul. I send my prayers to you, your fiancée, and your family.

Whether on the soccer field, playing his guitar or indulging his pets, Mark always poured his heart and soul into everything he did. We are proud of the man he was, grateful that he found his soulmate, Danielle, and in awe of the courage with which he faced the most daunting challenges.
We miss him terribly but we´re blessed with 37 years of beautiful memories.
Rest peacefully, son. We love you.

I got to know Mark over the last few years and enjoyed his company very much. I will miss our conversations about things like archaeology, soccer, beer, and music. We also had conversations about the meaning of life and death and hopes for the future of our loved ones. I considered Mark to be not only a son in law but also a friend. I will miss him , rest in peace, my friend.
