Although we knew Mark for only a short time, our times with him were memorable. We will remember his mischievous twinkling eyes, his love for family and friends, and the comfort we found in his company.

Dear Family,

I have the fondest memories of our Mr Swift as he came to my house to teach piano! We spent most of the time talking and.laughing about our love of our dogs and very little time on the piano!!However, he taught me how to play and it was one of the best days of the week for me to see him come in the door.He sat with me and my three dogs and toddler twins with a smile on his face! He loved his family and will forever be in my heart as truly a wonderful man.!Linda ,Steven,Adam and Ariana

I loved Mark and your whole family, whom I got to know at LIFECARE, where I worked in Activities. I have the best memories of this man, who I had so much fun with! He would beam with that glorious smile when I'd walk up saying, "Hi Handsome!" He loved music, and had his favorites at Lifecare. And we knew who he DIDNT like! Mark played Bingo every week with Roberta, and all his family, including Ruby!! He always won!! I have many pictures of him with Ruby, and my dog, Parker, and of him enjoying the sunshine outside with his whole family.... And Ruby:) . I will truly miss him so very much. It became so obvious to me what a great father he must've been, since his kids and grandkids spent so much time sitting with him and loving him., and who are all amazing people. I love you all..

To the Smith Family, my condolences on Mark's passing. Growing up on Third Ave and having friends on Second Ave I often saw Mark working around the yard and he would interact with the neighborhood kids on every encounter. I fractured my arm in 7th grade and Mark gave me a lift to/from school to avoid getting it bumped around on the school bus. Always a gentleman...

Regards,

Mr Swift was a very important part of my Mark's life as his special needs teacher.
That is quite a challenge for everyone, and
I am grateful for his skills as a teacher!

Papa, I will miss you. You were a father, a friend and a partner in many adventures. You gave me confidence and guidance when I needed it most. Every time the striped bass in the river jump, or when I am on the boat and having a glass of scotch I will think of you. Your spirit will always comfort us. Gren
