Mark Tippett Obituary
Mark will be remembered for his charming demeanor, his gracious spirit and his commitment to his family, who deeply adored him. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 41 years, Barbara Tippett, and children: Bianca West (Steve), Brooks Tippett (Kim), Chad Bishop (Amy) , Mark Tippett, Jr (Brenda), and Susan Pendry (Bill). His legacy will live on through his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will continue to be guided by his wisdom, humor and the memory of his gentle spirit.
He is predeceased by a sister, Kathleen Gordon, and a brother, Michael Brooks Tippett.
The Tippett family invites you for a memorial service to honor and celebrate Mark's life at Greenbrier Farms at 772 Hester Store Road in Easley at 2 pm on Sunday, September 22, 2024.
Donations may be made in Mark's memory to the Amedisys Hospice Foundation, 10 Patewood Drive Ste 375, Greenville, SC 29615.

Mark came into my 12 yr old life in the 60's when he dated and married my older sister, Martha Hill Tippett. Mark's personality was larger than life, he was generous, funny, and always called me "airman," although I never knew why but liked the nickname. I will miss my older brother figure and Linville Gorge camping buddy, nicknamed Ma Tip.
