Mark Weaver Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 26, 2024.
Mark B. Weaver, age 60, of Milwaukee, WI, passed away on March 23, 2024, in Oak Lawn, IL. Mark was born on November 8, 1963. He was a beloved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and great-uncle.

Mark was a giving person known for his willingness to offer assistance whenever needed. He had a great sense of humor and deeply cherished his family. An "Over the Road" Truck Driver for 40 years, Mark was a member of the 1 million mile club with zero accidents. He drove for various companies including Power Source, Chizek Transport, Henderson Trucking, and Roehl Trucking. Mark was passionate about his career and always ready for the next delivery or pick-up.

In his free time, Mark enjoyed camping, being outdoors, and was a dedicated Star Trek fan. He had plans for a long camping trip once his health improved, as camping had been a significant part of his life since childhood.

Mark is survived by his father Walter Weaver, stepmother Lucia Weaver, mother Julie Weaver, siblings Theresa Davis, Carri Njust, Kim Behringer, Tim Weaver, and their respective spouses and children.

A memorial service to honor Mark's life will be decided at a later date. Donations in his memory can be made to Truckers Final Mile.

Journey Cremations in Lake Zurich, IL, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.

Rest in peace, Mark. Your kindness and dedication will always be remembered.

I can speak for Jake too on this, and I would be surprised if this wasn't the first memory of Mark. I can remember both of us being in awe of the Nintendo when we came to Illinois. He introduced us to video games and as they say the rest is history. I have fond memories of him and offer my and Jake's sincere condolences.
