Marla L. Hess, 66, of Wichita Falls, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2022 at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.
Marla was born on March 30, 1955 in Caracalla, Japan to the late Jon Daniel and Rosalie (Towell) Hess. She worked numerous years at the Texas State Hospital, retiring in 2022. Marla enjoyed working in the yard, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She was outgoing and never met a stranger, witty, and would do anything to help someone out.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Zan Hess; her niece, Lisa Underwood; and her great-nephew, Jayden.
She is survived by her sister, Sheila Underwood; and numerous cousins, family and friends who will miss her dearly.
