Add memories that will last forever

Not sure what to say?

June 1, 2019

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Marla's family, sorry for your loss. Jeremiah 29:11, 12 assures us that God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope, and that if we come and pray to Him, He will listen to us. May that bring you comfort in this time of sorrow

Loved Marla and Parley! She was one of the most generous, fun ladies I knew. Their contributions to the Island Park community will never be forgotten by those of us lucky enough to cross their paths. If you knew Marla at all, you know the deep love she had for her kids and grandkids. They enjoyed many family vacations and she loved to share the stories as only Marla could share. Her contagious laugh will never be forgotten.❤

I first met Marla working at Eddys Cafe. I had just moved to Blackfoot and got my first job there. We soon became best friends.I have great memories of all our adventures and the fun times we had. One night when we were both working she told me her brother J.C. or (Jake) who was in the navy would be stopping in and she would introduce us. And so she did .We dated, we married and later became the parents of three wonderful daughters. Thank- You Marla for being my friend and sister-in-law. R.I.P.

What a precious, stubborn, sassy woman was she! Loved her to pieces, my heart and prayers are with all the family. She'll always be the boss!

Marla was such a pillar in Island Park. My fondest memory is the Christmas auction at Macks Inn. Marla always purchased the most beautiful trees donated by the community and then donated them to care facilities for others to enjoy. Rest in peace!
