Your voice is singing loud and clear in Heaven
Will miss that strong voice and character.
Always wanted to do a duet with you. Maybe one day
in that Heavenly choir.

Evangelist Marelene Davis was a blessed and loving Friend to me. She was always supportive of the Music Ministry to which I have been CALLED & CHOSEN by God, and academically prepared. She would always attend concerts given by my choirs, and would sit quiety off to the side being supportive and quiet. When I would try to have her move forward and to recognize her, publically, she would just so 'no, no...it's about God and you now.." The love, caring disposition, Godly-inspiration and presence that she possessed will be and already is, missed. I pray for comfort, peace and strength for the family.

To my God Sister Marlene, you were truly a big sister to me. Being named after my mother made ift even more special. You were a person who tackled every issue, no matter what it was. I will Miss our private conversations we used to have and that smile you had for me every time I saw you.You made it easier for me when mom and dad passed so close together and the extra you did to make it alright. As It says Let the work I have done speak for me bodes so well with you,on every front. You have earned your wings , I will see you again, absent from body present with the Lord. To the family of Marlene Mosley: you do t know me, but I am a former classmate of Marlene, we went to Fifth Avenue High School at the same time, actually, she was in a history class with me. I just thought you'd want to hear from someone who could say that even as a child she had power in her spirit! She was already singing and was her own woman. I feel your loss as though I know you!! I pray Gods devine intervention on your household--and that his spirit of grace and of peace spills over-- that your sorrow will be replaced with precious memories of your time with her and that those memories will carry you into your new normal.

Dear Family of Marlene,
Deepest sympathies on your great loss. Marlene had a lovely voice that enriched special times when her daughter was a student at St. Matthew Lutheran School, some years ago.
May our caring Christ comfort all who mourn Marlene's passing.
