Bryan and family,
I was very sad to hear that your mother passed away. She was always so very kind to me. Her faith was evident in everything she did and said, and I know she is with her Savior now. May God grant peace and comfort to you all at this time.
Warm regards,

There is such a hole in my heart since my BUDDY left us. We didn't get to spend as much time together as we would have liked, but our time was the best. We laughed, we shopped, we crafted & beaded and talked up a storm. I can't tell you how many exits we missed because we were so busy blabbing and would end up miles past our destination. Everyday was a fun new adventure. We took every crazy craft class we could find. We searched high & low for that special treasure--knowing we shouldn't buy it, we really didn't need it and our husbands would probably kill us,but we did anyhow. Giggling like a couple of little kids,we would try to figure out how we could sneak our treasures into the house without being caught. Marlene can never be replaced, she was one in a million for sure. I have so many happy memories that will never be forgotten, she lives in my heart forever. I'm so lucky to have known her, and if they ever get a phone in heaven----we'll be on it for hours. My best to her whole family. I Miss YOU BUDDY Love Linda

She will always be "Mrs. Linkous" to me. I am in my 40's now, but was just a teen when she helped my though some very dark times. I know she did the same for many of all ages. Even though we are not ready for her to go-she certainly was. There was no question that she lived her life for the day she would meet her Lord and Savior.
My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Linkous and the entire family. It is a great loss, but the testimony of her life will live on.

There are no words to express what this incredible woman meant to me. Her ready wit, calm resolve and bottomless faith encouraged me so much when life was hard. I loved the way she befriended and shared life with my mother. Friends like Marlene are irreplacable.
My prayers are with Bernie and the kids and grand-kids. God comfort you in the passing of this truly remarkable woman. We will see her again, in better places than this.
