Flash and family, I just learned of Marlene's passing this morning 4/26/14. I am soo sorry for your loss. She was the most kind hearted and fun spirited people I was ever blessed to know. I sat beside her for years at Sears and grew to love her as another mother and friend. She is out of her suffering and at peace. I hope that you and your family can find peace within knowing that she is in Jesus' arms and very much loved. She will always be with all of us in our hearts and memories. God Bless you all. Nancy from Sears

My dear Cousin Marlene will be sorely missed by me. My heart is broken. I remember when we were children and she and Cookie were my older cousins. They taught us so much. They gave us their prom dresses to dress up in. They loved me & my sister Mae & we loved them. The years took us in different directions but we kept in touch, seeing each other when we could. My sincere condolences to the rest of her family as I know what a terrible loss you are suffering. My dear Cousin Marlene: I am glad you are no longer suffering & are with all the ones we loved that have gone before us and with God. Rest peacefully.

The question asks "what will you miss about Marlene". Her smile, her laugh, her voice, her love for life, her love for her family, her love for her friends, her Faith. To sum it up in one word EVERYTHING! Many evenings Bob and I would look at each other and say "Let's go see Mar and Flash." You will be missed by many and it will be very hard but You are no longer suffering and with The Lord and that puts a smile on my face. Rest in Peace my Dear Friend. Love you!
