Marlene M. Peplinski

I had the pleasure of having Miss Peplinski as my teacher at Fr. Marquette elementary (Muskegon, MI) in 5th - 6th grade. She was truly a role model and a shining light. My Mom remained friends with her for many, many years after that as well. Condolences to her family.

Marlene was an engaging teacher and kind and compassionate school leader, for those of us fortunate to have been students during her tenure at St. Mary.

Son and family: Marlene was a very special lady. I remember her having to help me walk up the isle to get my special candle on all souls day. I wouldn't have made it without her. To the family I know you're sad right now, but heaven gained a new angel. We are here for you Son and family.

Aunt Marlene you were such a source of strength and inspiration to all as well as the strongest cancer battle warrior I have ever known I am positive my Hershey was soo happy to greet you at heavens gate and guide you home for he adored you from the moment met you #UntilWeMeetAgain

Our sincere sympathy to Marlene's family during this difficult time. Our mother, Winnie (Wieschowski-Kirchoff) and Marlene were very close throughout their lives. We remember how kind Marlene was to our mother during our mother's illness. We also remember Marlene coming up to Alpena and spending precious time with her many family members! Marlene was a truly wonderful, kind individual. I enjoyed our phone calls and she was always so positive. She loved her son Joseph (son) Yen and the two beautiful granddaughters. She always spoke positive about them. She also loved her brothers and sister and neices and nephews and lots of cousins. She will be missed but not forgotten. She will always be in our hearts.
