When I met Marlon at my God daugthers home (Shadawn) he was very quite and a soft spoken young man, some what of being shy. It is very sad he has been taken away so soon, never to see a beautiful daughter that has been born.

I am sorry for the death of Marlon. I really did not know him very well but he was an East Angel and I am too. He will be missed greatly. I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers. I give you my deepest sympathy with love.

I remember when I first met Marlon when I was a freshman in high school and he was a sophmore, he had the biggest, brightest and most inviting smile ever. He was funny and loved a good laugh. He was true to his word and the three years that I shared with him I never remember him telling one lie. I remember the first time we partied together, and the classes we shared, how he would go to sleep in each one and still make a passing grade and know exactly what was said in class that day. He was very smart. I also remember the first and last time he had gotten mad at me, it was over saying that he looked like a "white boy" he stayed mad for atleast two weeks. And when he had gotten over the fact that I called him a "white boy" he acted as if it never happened. One thing that I really loved about Marlon is that he would give up his Friday and Saturday nights to watch his nieces and nephews. The only question I ask about his death is why now? I mean he just graduated and has only been 18 for about 6 months, he was going to college. He never had a chance to live it up.

I'm going to end now but before I do I want to send out my condolences to his mother and father, and all of his wonderful family. I don't know how you all feel right now going through this but your pain has to be deeper than mine because you all have lost a brother, uncle, friend or SON.
