Mars will be missed by so many. He was a huge part of one of my favorite bands, The Psychedelic Furs. His contributions to the music industry were amazing. It won't be the same seeing the Furs without Mars. Thanks for the music Mars. My deepest sympathy to all who loved you.

Oh so sad! I am a big fan of the Psychedelic Furs. The band was so fun to see in concert! All the members seemed to enjoy the fans when I went .

Mars played the sax on one of my songs several years ago. Mars let me and young son Pj McManus Jr produce the part with him. It was so fun! Rio solo was what first drew me to Duran Duran. Next was Christmas Wrap (Mars' sax made the song). Psychedelic Furs, also better for his saxophone.
Thanks for making music better for all of us. We'll miss you.
