Marsha Hibben Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 28, 2025.
Marsha Gail Hibben passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. A memorial service to honor her life will be held on Saturday, March 22, at 1:30 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church, 6824 Randol Mill Road, Fort Worth, TX 76120, with Rev. Doug Rife officiating.

Marsha was known for her friendly, fun-loving, and nurturing spirit. She brought warmth and joy to those around her, always ready to share a smile or a kind word. She attended Lincoln Elementary in Costa Rica before graduating from Richland High School in North Richland Hills, Texas.

Throughout her life, Marsha dedicated herself to both her career and family. She worked with Christian Single Adults, Bennigan's, and Mayday Aviation before embracing her most cherished role as a homemaker and mother. Her greatest joy came from caring for her children and creating a loving home.

Marsha found happiness in simple pleasures, especially playing board games and card games with family and friends. These moments of laughter and connection were among her most treasured.

She is survived by her children, Duston Mowdy, Cameron Mowdy, and Jessica Hibben; grandchildren Clayton Mowdy, Mike Mowdy, and Max Pace; sisters Sharon Howeth and Melanie Morgan; caregiver Casey Stewart; as well as many nieces, nephews, loving cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mel and Charlene Neill; daughter Merissa Pace; son-in-law Craig Pace; and nephew Aaron Howeth.

Marsha's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. May the love she shared continue to bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.

Marsha, was such a dear friend growing up, and all of the Neill family. I had many sleep overs at the Neill house, I was always welcomed like I was Family. Attened Church with the family, and when it came time for my wedding, Marsha was of course was my bridesmaid, but also Mr Neill officiated our wedding, which was so very special to me. Marsha and I used to play Barbiess in her room when I splept over, and when we grew out of that, we would be sitting on the floor in her bedroom listening to Carole King Trapestry album over and over again on a tiny little portable turntable, until her Mom or Dad would come and tell us to turn it off and go to bed. I have so many found memories of those days and cherious them very much. I will Miss you my dear friend, but you will always be close in my Heart. I Love you Marsha,
Jody

I remember when Marsha & I were planning pranks to play on Mely as she was preparing to marry Don. We got caught with the planning by Mely & she went & told momma & momma said you girls can't do that. We did manage to get a few in that Mely didn't know about & everyone were good sports about the pranks. Rest in peace my friend & we'll catch up someday.
