My family and I have known Marshall Lager and his family for many years, as we had mutual friends. From precocious child to active participant in social events, Marshall was always a unique personality. He was intelligent, quick with a remark and ready to assess the situation on his terms. Best of all, with his mom, Melanie, he was "all in " with her care when she needed him the most. Marshall was a generous and loving man

Marshall and I worked together for years and I always loved seeing him. CRM Magazine spawned a great group of people and Marshall was OG.
To Marshall's surviving brother Bruce, your brother was a great guy and I'm so sorry for your loss and everyone else's loss too.

Marshall was a truly generous soul. We were classmates together at Elmont Memorial High School, and managed to reconnect online and stay in touch over the years. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Marshall has been a core member of our CRMKonvos. He didn´t say much. But when he said something it was better to listen to it. Profound; thoughtful; delivered with wit!

We will miss you. I will miss you.

My first memory of Marshall was in the CRM Playaz Happy Hour in 2020 - he was so kind, warm and welcoming. I quickly came to know that in any situation, he was a worthy companion in wit, humor, sarcasm and intelligence. I will always remember him for being the one person in the room that, when present, immediately brightened my mood. I will miss him deeply, and I´m so grateful that I to meet him in person in January - finally - and give him more than one huge hug. Godspeed Marshall - there will never be another. <3

I had the pleasure of meeting Marshall years ago when I was working in CX and I enjoyed connecting with him on Twitter and Facebook. I adored his content on bats and I appreciated his wit and his candor. I am heartbroken by this news. Rest in Peace Marshall - your memory IS a blessing.
