Survived by mother, Selina; sisters, Malaika Allen and Makesha Carter (all of Mpls); grandmother, Irene Fobena of Toledo, OH; nephew, Amaja Allen; other relatives and friends. Funeral service 12 noon SATURDAY at WERNESS BROTHERS, 3700 Nicollet Ave S., Mpls. Visitation 6-8 PM FRIDAY plus 1 hr. before Saturday's service at the funeral home. I attended class with Martae at South High. He always had a smile on his face and was a pleasure to be around. I'm sad and shocked to hear of his sudden passing and will miss him dearly. My condolences go out to his family.

my name is Kristina. I went to school with Martae and I couldn't believe what I heard when I found out the news, I didn't know him all that well, but he had such an amazing spirit. I know he will be missed. My condolences go out to you and ur family.
