Martha Bekier Obituary
Her husband, Walter Bekier died in 1985. She leaves a daughter, Joan M. Bekier of Millbury; six sons, James A. Bekier of Baltimore, Maryland, Steven W. Bekier of Rindge, N.H., Kenneth C. Bekier, Thomas E. Bekier, John M. Bekier and Robert S. Bekier all of Millbury; two brothers, Richard P. Dwinell and Robert B. Dwinell both of Millbury; two sisters, Barbara M. OTM)Brien and Bernice M. Gaudere both of Millbury; ten grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Millbury, daughter of Charles and Sadie (Army) Dwinell and has lived here all her life. She is predeceased by two brothers, Earl Dwinell and Harold Dwinell and a sister, Hazel I. Weldon. She graduated from Millbury High School in 1937.
Mrs. Bekier was a secretary for the Millbury School Department, at the Elmwood St. School for 25 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, March 27, from Mulhane Home for Funerals, (www.mulhane.com) 45 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Millbury Seniors, 1 River St., Millbury, Mass. 01527.
