HOLDENVILLE — Memorial services for Martha Gail Eck, 63, Holdenville, are 1 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2009, at East Main Church of Christ, 501 E. Main, Holdenville.Mrs. Eck died April 14, 2009. She was born Feb. 12, 1946, to the late Everett and Lois Bedford of Healdton.She married Alan Eck Dec. 21, 1964.She was an elementary school teacher in multiple southern-Oklahoma school systems and her work with citizens of the Chickasaw NationShe is survived by her husband, Alan Eck, three sons, John Alan Eck, Ada, Stephen Eck, Edmond, and Jeremy Eck, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a brother, Everett Bedford, Duncan; and a sister, Anna Jackson, Chouteau; eight grandchildren, Summer Eck, Ethan Eck, Rebekah Eck, and Macey Eck, all of Ada, Davin and Landon Eck, both of Oklahoma City, and Elijah Eck and Meredith Eck, both of Edmond.Mrs. Eck was an active member of the Church of Christ from her earliest days in Healdton.
