I don't know much about her career, however my mother was a huge fan of actresses like her. She was definitely a gorgeous woman and very talented. Please accept my sympathy for your loss. I can only understand the sadness the family might be going through with the loss of a loved one, May they be granted strength and comfort during your time of sorrow.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of such a remarkable woman. My prayers are with the family.

I always enjoyed Ms. Hyers work. I thought she would get bigger and better roles after "Sabrina" and "Some Came Running". She was so much better than "the other woman" role she usually played. She wasn't afraid to let herself go as evidenced her floozie in "The Chase" with Brando and all star cast. I always loved her wry smile. Look forward to a Hyer tribute on TCM.

I always liked and wondered what became of Martha. I thought she was beautiful and should have had a bigger career. she could act and had allure. I read she said she was disappointed with her later career and retired.but Loved her privacy and her home in New mexico, and the state. I hope her private years were kind and peaceful for her. she was still signing autographs until recently. shows she was gracious and kind that people Remembered her so thoughtfully. Rest in peace Martha. Many will miss you.

Sad to lose such a beautiful and inspiring actress as Martha Hyer, and she was even born in Fort Worth, Texas! It is a crying shame to lose such a talented lady, I'll always remember the movies she was in, and when they show up on t. v., or a film festival, I'll think fondly of this lady who entertained me over the years. Looks like another one of the great ones has passed on, sad to say.
