PRESTON, Martha (nee Moore) 92 years, of Tilbury, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Beloved wife of Fred (1988). Loving mother of Joyce & Bill Walker. Cherished grandmother of Kristine & Dave Coombes, Tammy & Mark Drew, and Heather & Greg Barnes. Special great-grandmother of Ryan and Nicole Coombes, Ricki Ann and Jamie Lynn Drew, Kaiden & Brooklyn Barnes. Dear sister of Elsie Stewart, and the late Jim Moore, Hilda Massier, and Pat Moore. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Martha was a long time member of the Darrel S. Moffat Church and U.C.W. She was a member of the Good Luck Rebekah Lodge #297 for 52 years and served as an Officer, Vice Grand, Noble Grand, Past Grand, and District Deputy President. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury on Thursday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Good Luck Rebekah Lodge service at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Family and friends will continue to be received at Darrel S. Moffat Church, Tilbury on Saturday, August 29, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Lillian Patey officiating. Interment at McDowell Cemetery. Memorial donations to Darrel S. Moffat United Church or McDowell Cemetery appreciated.
