Martha E. (Veitch) Seigfried, 101, of Pittsburgh, died Wednesday, May 6, 2010, in the Reformed Presbyterian Home, Pittsburgh. She was born April 15, 1909, in Manor, a daughter of the late James and Willia (Rupert) Veitch and was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter G. Seigfried; and siblings, Anna Carrig and Robert, James and Eugene Veitch. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Pittsburgh. Surviving are a son, Walter D. Seigfried and his wife, Miriam, of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Rachel (Nathan) Moore and Daniel (Ayo) Seigfried; great-grandchildren, Isaac and Ruth Moore; also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, 724-863-1200, where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Thomas Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery. Those wishing may make a contribution in Martha's memory to Ligonier Camp & Conference Center, Capital Campaign, 188 Macartney Lane, Ligonier, PA 15658.
