Your mother was a very special person to me and gave a great gift to my life in a time of need over forty years ago. My children attended Concord Day School when I was a single mother. Alice, you might remember me because a few years later, we went to Lamar, Business school together. In a time of great financial struggle and personal challenge, each day as I left my children in her care, she imparted care, grace , hope, and strength to start my day. I continue to be very grateful that God brought me through her doors and Martha into my life. I couldn’t help but notice her business success and her caring heart and she inspired me in great ways. I went on to complete college at Lamar, become a CPA, remarry, and raise my three children. God brought her into my life. She played a role in my success. Well done, you good and faithful servant!
