Marta lived life to the fullest. She brought her love of life and verve to everything she did, including her work. Although she worked on health research studies, which can be challenging and difficult, she always acconplised this work with skill and empathy. She was much in demand as a troubleshooter who would go the extra mile to complete the most difficult tasks. Only Marta with her persisence and sensitivty could accomplish so much.
She was appreciated by those she worked with as well because she was a person of genuine generosity who brought thoughtful friendship to the situation: not to mention fun, jokes, newspaper clippings and home-made goodies. She was able to make any situation more personal and enjoyable. Her very good friend, Jan Blundell, reminded me that you never left Marta's home empty-handed or with an empty heart. We always wanted to be with Marta again. Goodby, Marta

We were sad to hear that our dear Marta had passed. David, her 2nd Nephew, by marriage (Roy is a cousin to his father Raymond), had always talked with Marta over the phone every few weeks or so. We were planning on coming out this summer to see her and family but we will be too late to see her now - I wish we would of dropped everything last summer at came out. She just loved little Robin, our daughter. Marta was the last person in David's family that he could talk to and that genuinely cared for him.
We will miss Marta so much but will always think of her and the short times we had with her..Marta we love you and will miss you so much.

Nobody could ever live a fuller and richer life than Marta did. Always looking for the positive in life, always being productively busy, always doing things to help family, friends, and co-workers, always dancing. Although Marta will be missed very much, she will still be present within those who knew her.

Marta,
You are missed by many... Emily and I will miss you immensely, but you have lived an abundant and happy life and leave us a lifetime of wonderful memories; from Sunday morning "creps" to watching you hang "Alouicious" by his ears on the clothesline.. :-)We love you.
