I was fortunate enough to work with Martin in 1988 at Aero Detroit here in the US. I was fresh out of high school, and Martin was my first mentor for CAD Design (CATIA) which became my lifelong career. Martin was always kind and generous - taking time to help me during his lunch hours. I will always remember that. Many here in the US are saddened to hear of his passing. He was a good friend and a true gem to all who knew and worked with him here. We will keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.

Rest easy Martin with friends, family and mum and dad. I remember the days and kids playing in the fields and back garden - running free and full of spirit with not a care in the world. Happy and hopeful. Bev and Tawney remember to love and the good times. You were loved more than you will ever know. There is a Martin shaped whole in your hearts but fill it with happy memories and moments and in time it will mend. Love Steve, Sam,Emma,Becki,Bethany,George, Alex xxxxx

Three things that will always stand out to me about Martin is; his lovely smile, the stories he would tell and how kind he always was to my children. May you rest in peace now and holding you in my prayers. Esme L,C&A xxx
