Martin CHORAN Obituary
Peacefully, in his ninetieth year, on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Beloved husband of Bella Borts and the late Yetty Finkelstein. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Nathan and Judy. Cherished Zaidie of David, Solomon and Hannah. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Irving and Anna Choran, the late Sol and the late Sylvia Choran. Martin will be sadly missed by Bella's children and nine grandchildren, as well as his nieces, nephews, family, and all of those whose lives he touched. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Cité de la Santé Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Special thanks to Dr. Catherine Bédard. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, February 26 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Hebrew Protective Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at his home, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily. Donations in Martin's memory may be made to the United Chesed of Toronto, (416) 663-3339 or www.unitedchesed.com, or to any other Jewish charity of your choice.
