Martin Tessler Obituary
Beloved father of Patricia Tessler and the late Suzanne Tessler; dear grandfather of Megan Grosberg Mahley, the late Joseph Carl Grosberg, Patrick Murphy and Claire Murphy; dear brother and brother in law of the late Samuel (Sylvia) Tessler; dear uncle of Michael Tessler and Marianne Tessler. The family would especially like to thank Cay von Brecht, a dear and loyal friend of Martin.
Martin stayed in contact with a close-knit group of childhood friends throughout his entire life. He graduated from Washington University, served in the US Army during World War II and worked in the insurance business until he was 90 years old.
Graveside service Tuesday August 14, 1:00 PM at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 7500 Olive Blvd. 63130. Memorial contributions preferred to the Alzheimer's Association, Torah Prep Boy's and Girl's School and Missouri Torah Institute.

Marty was known as THE KING by my father and his friends. Condolences to the family, 5 years late. He was a sweet soul and always kind to this kid.

Marty was good friend and I will miss him. I always enjoyed his stories. He also took care of all my insurance needs. I feel blessed for knowing him.
